Henriette has two decades of experience critiquing and editing manuscripts, teaching both at the university level and at GrubStreet, and has worked with writers on their novels, memoirs, and creative non-fiction drafts. If you’re looking for help with a developmental edit or a near-final (because when is it ever final?!) pass for critique and helpful commentary, please do get in touch.
Cost: $2,500 (1/2 paid upon delivery of manuscript, and remainder paid upon completion)
What you get:
a thorough reading and response to your manuscript, including edits and comments in Word
a 4-5 page, single-spaced editorial letter offering suggestions—as well as praise, of course
Timing: editing and commentary compete within four weeks of receipt of the manuscript
Send Henriette an email including a 5-page sample and a one-page synopsis of your project.
Please note that sending us your work for critique has no bearing on the submission process, should you choose to query Galiot Press with this or other work.
